How to find the wifi password (Verizon)
If you’re having trouble connecting your devices to the internet at home, I will show you easy ways to find your Verizon Wi-Fi password. Even if you’re not very familiar with technology, I guide you step by step so you can get your devices online quickly.
I’ll explain how to find your password on your router, using the Verizon app, on a device that’s already connected, and even on routers that have a small display.

I can usually find my Wi-Fi password directly on the sticker or LCD screen of my router.
1. Check the label on your Verizon router
Most Verizon routers have a sticker on the back or bottom showing:
Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
Wi-Fi Password (Password, Wireless Key, or Network Key)
In most cases, this is the fastest way to find your password. I recommend writing it down so you don’t forget it.
2. Use the Verizon My Fios or My Verizon app
With the My Fios app (for Fios customers) or My Verizon app (for other plans), I can:
See my Wi-Fi password
Change the password
Share Wi-Fi easily
This is especially useful if the router label is hard to read.
3. Routers with a display
Some Verizon routers have a small LCD screen that shows the Wi-Fi password. I explain how to navigate the menu to find it if it’s not displayed directly.
4. Devices already connected
On Windows
I open Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Network Properties
I can view the saved password
On Mac
I open Keychain Access, find my network, and reveal the password
On iPhone / iPad
Settings → Wi-Fi → Tap your network → Password (if using iCloud Keychain)
On Android
Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Saved networks → View password
5. Reset your Verizon router
If I cannot find the password:
I press the reset button on the back of the router
A new password will be generated
⚠️ All devices will need to reconnect using the new password
Summary
1. check the router label
2. I use the Verizon app
3. I look at routers with a display
4. I check a device already connected
5. I reset the router if necessary
