How to contact Vinted Customer Service ?

Vinted does not offer phone-based customer support. That’s why contacting Vinted for a specific issue can sometimes feel like an obstacle course. This is why I decided to write this guide, hoping it will help you.
In fact, the only official and reliable way to contact customer support is through the Vinted Help Center (via the app or the website).

In this article, we’ll go over the different ways to contact Vinted support (customer service, after-sales service, etc.), along with real-life situations that require contacting Vinted. Let’s get started!

1. Ways to Contact Vinted

1.1 Via the Help Center (Main Method)

📍 Where can you find the Help Center?

On the mobile app:
Open Vinted → Go to Your profileHelp Center → Scroll down to Contact us

On a web browser:
Log into your account → Scroll to the bottom of the page → Click Help & Support or Help Center → Then Contact us

Why use it?

This form is the official, fastest, and safest way to contact Vinted support. You can select the category that best matches your issue (dispute, missing parcel, item not as described, payment, etc.).

💡 Practical tip:
Include the following in your message:

  • Order / transaction number

  • Your Vinted username

  • A clear, chronological explanation

  • Attached evidence (screenshots, photos)

This greatly increases your chances of getting a quick response.

1.2 Contacting Vinted by Email (Specific Cases Only)

Vinted does not publicly display a general support email. However, some addresses exist for specific cases:

📧 Email address | 📌 Recommended use
legal@vinted.fr | Legal claims, legal questions, fraud reports, serious disputes
legal@vinted.co.uk / dpo@vinted.fr | Data protection / GDPR-related requests (use with precision)

👉 Important:
Emails sent to these addresses are often slower or less effective than using the Help Center, as Vinted prioritizes requests handled through their internal system.

1.3 Via Vinted’s Internal Messaging System

If your issue concerns an ongoing transaction (buying or selling):

  1. Open the conversation linked to the item
  2. Click the information icon (ℹ️)
  3. Select Help or Report a problem
  4. Follow the steps to open a dispute or contact support

👉 This method is often the fastest for:

  • Item not received

  • Item not as described

  • Buyer/seller disputes

1.4 Social Media (Supplementary Only)

You can try contacting Vinted via their official Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages to draw attention to an urgent case.
However, social media does not replace official customer support.

2. Common Issues

2.1 Parcel Not Received or Delayed

What to do:

1. Check the parcel tracking in the Vinted conversation
2. If the delivery deadline has passed, report a Delivery problem via the Help Center
3. If no solution is offered, contact Vinted via the form and attach:

    • Order number

    • Screenshot of tracking information

👉 This is the most effective way to trigger an investigation or refund.

2.2 Item Not as Described or Damaged

What to do:

1. Take clear photos of the issue
2. Open a dispute directly in the purchase conversation
3. Select Item not as described
4. If the seller does not respond or refuses, escalate via the Help Center

⚠️ Never validate the transaction until the issue is resolved.

2.3 Blocked Payment or Transfer Issue

What to do:

1.Check your bank details in your Vinted account
2.Wait for the normal processing time indicated by Vinted

If the payment remains blocked:

  • Open the Help Center

  • Choose the Payment category

  • Clearly describe the issue

👉 Transfers are often delayed but rarely lost.

2.4 Vinted Account Blocked or Suspended

What to do:

1. Check your emails (Vinted usually sends an explanation)
2. Contact support via Help Center → Blocked account
3. Explain your situation calmly (avoid aggressive language)

If there’s no response after several days, a written complaint can be sent to:
📧 legal@vinted.fr (serious cases only)

⚠️ Accounts suspended for rule violations may be permanently closed.

2.5 Issue With Another User (Dispute, Abusive Behavior)

What to do:

  1. Open the relevant conversation
  2. Click Report
  3. Select the reason (insults, scam, suspicious behavior)
  4. Add evidence if possible

👉 Internal reporting is always prioritized.

❌ What Does NOT Work

❌ Vinted phone number (does not exist)
❌ Random emails found online
❌ Threatening or aggressive messages (slows down processing)

✅ Tips to Get a Faster Response

  • Be clear, short, and precise

  • Always include:

    • Your Vinted username

    • Order number

  • Add screenshots

  • Stay polite (very important)

3. Conclusion

👉 Vinted Help Center = the only truly reliable contact method
👉 Always choose the category that matches your issue
👉 The clearer your message, the faster the response
