How to find the wifi password (AT&T)
This guide is for beginners, seniors, and anyone not comfortable with technology. It shows simple, step-by-step ways to find your AT&T Wi-Fi password. The Wi-Fi password is the code you need to connect your devices (phone, tablet, or computer) to the internet. Without it, your devices cannot connect.

I can find my Wi-Fi password either on the label or on the router’s small display.
1. Check the label on your AT&T router
Most AT&T routers have a sticker on the back or bottom showing:
Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
Wi-Fi Password (Password, Wireless Key, or Network Key)
In most cases, this is the fastest way to get your password. If needed, write it down so you don’t forget it.
2. Use the AT&T Smart Home Manager app
The AT&T Smart Home Manager app is available for iOS and Android. Using the app, you can:
See your Wi-Fi password
Change your password
Share Wi-Fi easily
This is the easiest method if your router label is hard to read.
3. Routers with a display
Some AT&T routers have a small LCD screen showing the Wi-Fi password. Navigate the menu to find the password if it’s not visible directly.
4. Devices already connected
On Windows
Open Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Network Properties
Show the saved password
On Mac
Open Keychain Access, find your network, and reveal the password
On iPhone / iPad
Settings → Wi-Fi → Tap your network → Password (if using iCloud Keychain)
On Android
Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Saved networks → View password
5. Reset your AT&T router
If you cannot find your password:
Press the reset button on the back of the router
A new password will be created
⚠️ All devices will need to reconnect.
Summary
1. Check the router label
2. Use the AT&T Smart Home Manager app
3. Look at routers with a display
4. Check a connected device
5. Reset the router if necessary
